Sea-Watch e.V.

Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit initiative dedicated to civil sea rescue in the central Mediterranean. In the face of an ongoing and state-initiated humanitarian disaster, the association provides acute emergency aid. It demands and forces rescue operations by the responsible European institutions and publicly stands up for legal escape routes as well as for freedom of movement and a Europe of solidarity. Sea-Watch is politically and religiously independent and is financed exclusively by donations. Please visit the homepage of Sea-Watch e.V. to find out more about their commitment and current missions.

Wulf Johannsen supports the work of Sea-Watch e.V. through an annual sustaining membership.

Christkönig Children's Village (Cochabamba, Bolivia)

When a person goes to prison in Bolivia, his entire family often accompanies him. While mother or father are imprisoned under inhumane conditions, the other parent has to provide the prisoner with food and daily needs. The children suffer most from this: they are neglected, starve and vegetate without a future.

Wulf Johannsen KG GmbH & Co. has therefore been supporting the Christkönig Children's Village in Cochabamba, Bolivia, for many years, which gives the "prison children" a home and ensures they can grow up healthy and with a school education.

Once again this year, we are donating the equivalent value of the customer gifts to the children's village and supporting part of the lunch for the approx. 300 internal and external young people who take part in the training program in the workshops. For the external students, this is often the only meal of the day.

SWAN Deutschland e.V.

Nepal, the small state in the Himalayas, is one of the 20 poorest countries in the world. The average income is only 704 USD (ca.550,00€) per year. One can hardly live from this, not even in Nepal.

The guiding principle for the work of SWAN Deutschland e.V. is: "help to self-help" for the Nepalese.

The association exclusively supports projects aiming at a sustainable improvement of the living situation in Nepal. In the fall of 2014, a group of Nepalese friends joined forces and founded SWAN Deutschland e.V. (SWAN Germany).

All board members have already visited Nepal several times and personally experienced which kinds of problems and emergencies exist and how outside support leads to concrete changes and promotes the initiative of the Nepalese.

The representatives of the organisation regularly oversee the implementation of the projects on site at their own expense and thus guarantee that all donations are 100% received. SWAN Deutschland e.V. has been recognised as a non-profit association by the tax office and is therefore entitled to issue tax certificates to donors and sponsors.

SWAN cooperates very closely with the non-governmental Nepalese aid organisation SWAN Nepal (Social Association of Welfare Nepal), which was founded 20 years ago by a group of Nepalese and has brought about many sustainable improvements through various projects in recent years.
